§ Mr. NottThere are serious practical difficulties to giving special income tax relief to disabled people. I do not believe that an inquiry such as the hon. Gentleman suggests would help to resolve them. Direct financial provision for disability is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Social Services.
