§ Mr. Denzil Daviesasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the recent Monopolies Commission report, he will instruct the Inland Revenue to reopen the corporation tax assessments on Roche Products Limited over the last six years so as to substitute the arm's length price of the raw material content of Librium and Valium for the group transfer price.
§ Mr. NottThe Inland Revenue has powers to reopen the tax assessments of companies but the hon. Member will understand that I cannot comment on individual cases.
