§ Mr. Dellasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will set out a table comparable to that in Schedule 18, page 177, of the Social Security Bill showing the weekly rate of pensions payable at retirement ages of 65 and 60 years on the assumption that there was no 361W difference in life expectancy between men and women.
§ Mr. DeanIf men's mortality were the same as for women and no provision were made for death benefits the amounts of pension secured by a contribution of £1 would be as shown in the third column of the table in Schedule 18 of the Social Security Bill, if the pensionable age were 60. If the pensionable age were 65 the rates of pension would be as follows:
