§ 45. Mr. Douglasasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the bodies available to him for consultation when permission is sought to build oil refineries in excess of 5 million tons capacity in the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. RipponIt is normally the responsibility of local planning authorities to undertake consultations. The note referred to in my reply to the hon. Member's Question on 14th February gives124W guidance. It would not, however, be appropriate to draw up a standard list.
