§ 35. Mr. John E. B. Hillasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what consideration she is giving to the recommendations of the report under the chairmanship of Sir Lincoln Ralphs on the rôle, functions and training of education welfare officers.
§ Mrs. ThatcherSir Lincoln Ralphs' working party on the functions and training of education welfare officers was set up by the Local Government Training Board and its report is, I understand, still under consideration by the board. My Department will be submitting comments on the parts of the report of particular concern to us.
