HL Deb 26 June 1973 vol 343 c1970WA
LORD BURTON

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether it has been decided that there is to be a runway constructed at Dalcross Airport, Inverness, or whether the old one is to be reinforced; and if no decision has been made, when a decision is likely, in view of the need to plan air services for the future.

LORD DRUMALBYN

My right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry is very conscious of the need for runway development at Inverness Airport and hopes that it will be possible to make a decision known in the near future.

House adjourned at five minutes before nine o'clock.
