§ Mr. Dudley SmithAll the inspectors of factories in post in the general and construction districts carry out full general inspections; these include construction sites and other premises under the Act as well as factories. The number in post on 1st June 1973 was 454; this is 68 per cent. of the total number of inspectors in post at this date.
