Bone, of Stratford, E.15, wrote to the Lord Chancellor on 26th April concerning alleged malpractices concerning a magistrates' court; that this letter was sent to his Department by the Lord Chancellor; why, by 22nd May, no reply had been sent to Mr. Bone; what is the reason for the delay; and when he may expect a reply.
§ Mr. CarlisleA reply was sent on 7th June. Almost all the period between receipt of the letter in the Home Office on 11th May and the sending of a reply was taken up by inquiries within the court service.
