asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether the EEC Council of Ministers has yet held discussions regarding the future of the sugar industry.

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what action he is taking to ensure that the European Economic Community fulfils its commitment to permit the continuing importation of 1.4 million tons of cane sugar from Commonwealth countries; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Michael Cocks

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether the Council of Ministers has yet considered how the 1.4 million tons of Commonwealth sugar, which the Government are committed to import after 1974, can be accommodated into the enlarged EEC.
