asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what has been the percentage increase in the price of onions, carrots and tomatoes since June 1970.

The latest figures from the Index of Retail Prices relate to 19th June 1973. Average retail prices at that date were above those for June 1970 by 43 per cent. for onions, 78 per cent. for carrots and 30 per cent. for tomatoes.
