§ Mr. Oakesasked the Secretary of State for the Environment why he has delayed the publication of the consultation document on the road and rail links to the proposed Maplin development until 23rd July; and within what time local authorities, amenity associations and members of the public must submit their representations.
§ Mr. RipponI have not delayed the publication of the consultation document on the access corridors to Maplin; they are being issued immediately they have been printed. I have asked local authorities, other public bodies and members of the public to let me have their views on the proposals by 12th October 1973.
