§ Mr. Michael HeseltineThe small boat safety "gateways" established on an experimental basis at the Department's suggestion were in Torbay and Whitby, but one has been established at local initiative in South Wales and we hope that this will occur elsewhere, including the Solent area. My Department has been active in encouraging a water safety campaign, which is being run this month in the Isle of Wight.
