96Wauthorities to assist in training children in road safety.
§ Mr. Peyton, pursuant to his answer [OFFICIAL REPORT, 2nd July 1973], circulated the following information:
Leaflets on the Green Cross Code were distributed through schools in 1971 and 1972. An instructional film on the code, with teaching notes, will be issued shortly. Two mobile safety exhibitions visit schools throughout the year. A booklet giving comprehensive advice on driver training for young people is available. My Department, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Science is preparing a road safety education pamphlet for teachers, which should be available early next year.
