§ Mrs. ThatcherI understand that my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Wales does not systematically collect information of this kind. The survey of careers education and guidance currently being conducted by Her Majesty's Inspectorate will provide the basis for an assessment of the extent to which counsellors are employed in secondary schools in England and Wales.
