What celebrations, exchanges of visits, and other activities are planned to mark the 600th anniversary of the Anglo-Portuguese alliance.

BARONESS TWEEDSMUIR OF BELHELVIE

His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh will visit Portugal from 5 to 8 June, and the President of the Council of Ministers of Portugal, Professor Marcello Caetano, will visit Britain from 16 to 19 July. A number of cultural and other events are planned, including an exhibition of historical documents at the British Museum from 11 June to 21 July. The other events will be announced as soon as the plans for them are complete.
