§ 52. Mr. Kilfedderasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make use of the Enterprise Ulster Organisation for the purpose of stockpiling snow removing and road gritting equipment for use during the winter months.
§ Mr. David HowellNo, Sir. Snow removal and gritting is at present the responsibility of the local road authorities and will become the responsibility of the Ministry of Development from 1st October. The work would not be suitable for the new Enterprise Ulster organisation.
