§ 55. Mr. Stanbrookasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what is the estimated population of foxes in the Greater London area; what numbers have been destroyed during the past three years; and whether he will review his present policy of extermination in the light of those figures.
§ Mrs. FennerNo such estimates or statistics are available, although some London boroughs have been in touch with my Department about fox control. We do not propose to disturb the present arrangements under which control is a matter for the occupier although it is open to local authorities to provide a service.
