§ Mr. Meacherasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what would be the cost of introducing the tax credit proposals at the present time, at the illustrative levels given in the Green Paper.
§ Mr. Nott,pursuant to his reply [OFFICIAL REPORT, 20th December 1973], gave the following information:
Relatively little changed from the estimate in paragraph 117 of the Green Paper "Proposals for a Tax-Credit System", which of course related to 1972 conditions.
