§ Mr. Anthony GrantThe Department is aware of decisions taken this year by over 140 firms with parent companies in other countries which have decided on new projects or expansions in Britain, and these decisions could eventually provide about 25,000 new jobs. The figures for Scotland are about 30 and 9,000 respectively.
