§ Mr. NottThe total amount contributed so far is £23 million, consisting of two payments of £7,500,00 each to the capital of the bank on 28th February 1973 and 28th September 1973 respectively, and two payments of about £4 million each to the reserves of the bank on the same dates.
The European Investment Bank has so far made three loans in the United Kingdom totalling £32.9 million—one of £3.5 million to the Industrial Commercial Finance Corporation on 19th July 1973, and two loans of £14.7 million each to the British Steel Corporation on 31st October 1973 and 6th December 1973, respectively.
