HC Deb 10 December 1973 vol 866 c49W
Mr. Thomas Cox

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what are the facilities for relatives of Northern Irish people, at present serving prison sentences in England and Wales, to visit such people.

Mr. Carlisle

I have been asked to reply.

The visiting facilities for relatives of Northern Irish prisoners serving sentences in prisons in England and Wales are similar to those for relatives of other prisoners. They include the provision of financial assistance towards the cost of visits for relatives in receipt of supplementary benefit allowances.
