Mr. Sutcliffeasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will seek powers to ensure that a non-British EEC national, who has to be released after being involved in a road accident where blood analysis discloses excess of alcohol, can be subsequently served with summonses under United Kingdom law and made to answer to them.
§ Mr. CarlisleThe Government are considering problems of enforcing the law against drivers resident abroad who commit road traffic offences in this country. Practical and legal problems of considerable difficulty are involved.
