§ Mr. Deakinsasked the Lord President of the Council if there is a secretarial allowance paid to Members who are members of the European Assembly ; and, if so, what is the annual amount.
§ Mr. PriorNo separate secretarial allowance is at present paid to Members in respect of their membership of the European Assembly. I understand, however, that the European Assembly has currently under consideration proposals for an allowance of this kind.
