asked the Secretary of State for Employment what has been the number of days lost through industrial disputes in the shipbuilding industry in Belfast since 31st May 1972.

I regret that the information asked for is not available. In 1972, 2,000 working days were lost through stoppages in the shipbuilding industry in Northern Ireland.
