§ Mr. Spearingasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will now reconsider his refusal of December 1972 to investigate the social and economic effects of the free market in land and property in Greater London, in order to provide more information to assist in easing the problems in the metropolis.
§ Mr. ChannonMy Department keeps a close and continuing watch on all aspects of development in Greater London, and I am not persuaded that an additional special study of this kind is needed.
