§ Mrs. ThatcherIn addition to work carried out by the National Foundation for Educational Research and the Schools Council, my Department is sponsoring a study of the social and academic consequences of different patterns of secondary school organisation, and is involved in development projects at comprehensive 293W schools. Her Majesty's inspectors constantly evaluate the organisation and teaching methods of schools, including comprehensive schools.
