§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, as the 1980 oil revenues of certain Middle East States are likely to exceed those of several European countries, whether it is the policy of Her Majesty's Government that Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iran should remain member States within the UNCTAD generalised scheme of preferences.
§ Sir G. HoweThese three countries, as members of the UNCTAD group of 77, participate in all the main schemes of preference, and I would not favour their exclusion.
