asked Her Majesty's Government what salaries are paid to the Chairman, Deputy Chairman and members of (a) the Price Commission and (b) the Pay Board, established by the Counter-Inflation Act 1973.

The salaries paid are as follows:

Deputy Chairman 12,000
Pay Board:

Deputy Chairmen:
(Mr. K. Johnson) 13,000
(Mr. D. Robinson) 12,000

The members of both Agencies are to be paid pro rata to the full-time rate of £8,000 p.a. according to the average number of days per week they devote to the Agency's activities, but where this amounts to less than one day per week no more than £1,000 p.a. would be payable.
