§ Sir K. JosephThe association has written expressing the disappointment felt by social workers at the delay in arranging the first meeting of the council. I have replied that I share its disappointment, that my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Wales and I have not yet been able to announce the appointment of the council and assuring it that the announcement will be made and the first meeting of the council arranged just as soon as this can be done.
