§ Mr. NottThe latest figures are given in the table below. They are based on information contained in National Accounts 1961–1971 published by the Statistical Office of the European Communities and the latest published figures for the United Kingdom. The figures have been converted from national currencies into sterling on the basis of (*) average telegraph transfer rates in London and (†) official rates of exchange. However, differences in the internal purchasing power of the national currencies are not necessarily reflected in international rates of exchange.
