§ 37. Mr. Joel Barnettasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will make a statement on the taxation of fringe benefits, in the light of conclusions in a recent study on the subject published by Gower Press, a copy of which is in his possession.
§ Mr. NottNo. As stated in reply to a parliamentary Question by my hon. Friend the Member for Cities of London and Westminster (Mr. Tugendhat) on 26th 319W March, the Government have under review the whole question of the taxation of benefits in kind.
