§ Mrs. FennerThe total amount paid under Section 104(4) of the Agriculture Act 1970 for agricultural training in Northern Ireland in 1971–72, including provision for administrative costs, was £22,080 and in 1972–73 about £25,000. Provision has been made for expenditure of up to £50,000 in 1973–74. I understand that the current scheme covers the training of new entrants, practical training provided as part of sandwich courses, and short courses for existing workers.
