§ Mr. S. C. Silkinasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what would be the saving in the current academic year from abandoning the dependent child allowance in respect of students over the age of 21 years at the relevant date in September 1972 whose parents are making a parental contribution towards their education and maintenance.
