§ The Prime MinisterYes. The welcome fall in unemployment in October and the reduction of over 100,000 since March in the seasonally adjusted total of wholly unemployed show that the Government's policies are working. Our present rapid economic growth rate should permit further progress to be made in reducing unemployment.
