Mr. William Price

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects lighting to be installed between Thurlaston roundabout and the Coventry boundary on the A45.

Mr. Speed

In view of changing traffic patterns since the opening of Midland Links (M6) the need for lighting this length of A45 is being reviewed. I shall be making a decision about this shortly.

Mr. William Price

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects a start on the flyover at Ryton Bridge on the A45 near Coventry.

Tenders are to be invited soon with a view to work starting in spring, 1973.
