§ Mr. Marksasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if, in view of the delay in bringing in new regulations for teachers' pensions, he will take steps to authorise a dispensation enabling teachers to claim tax relief on their contributions.
§ Mr. NottTeachers are already allowed tax relief in full on ordinary annual contributions to their pension scheme, and this will not be affected by any delay in bringing in new regulations.
