§ Mr. Sillarsasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he is able to estimate the expected rise in coal exports from the United Kingdom to the European Economic Community in the 12 months following official entry into the European Economic Community.
§ Mr. EmeryThe National Coal Board will make the most of any opportunities for coal exports offered by our joining the Community. However, future sales will depend upon a number of factors and it could be misleading to speculate on the level of any particular period.
