§ Mr. Wallasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement on the intake of Asians from East Africa in general and Uganda in particular.
§ Mr. R. CarrUp to 16th October, just over 15,000 people had arrived here from Uganda under the emergency arrangements made following upon the Government of Uganda's expulsion decree. I hope to be in a position to make a fuller statement about this very shortly. The issue of special vouchers to United Kingdom passport holders in other East African countries has continued in accordance with the previous arrangements.
