§ 87. Mr. Robert Edwardsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department in view of the numbers of people expected to attend the rally of retirement pensioners and lobby of Parliament on Wednesday, 22nd November, if he will call for a report from the Commissioner of Police for the Metropolis as to what provisions have been made to divert traffic from the Parliament Square area to facilitate the arrangements for this lobby.
§ Mr. CarlisleThe Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis tells me that on the information available he does not consider it necessary to make prior arrangements to divert traffic from Parliament Square.
