§ Mr. NottI am glad to announce that agreement has been reached with the trustees of the Nawton Tower Estate on the acceptance, in lieu of estate duty arising from the death of the 3rd Earl of Feversham, of some 1,840 acres of moors including hill farmland in86W Bransdale, Yorkshire. The land, in one of the most picturesque and remote dales within the Yorkshire North Moors National Park area, has been transferred to the National Trust to hold for enjoyment by the public. The cost to the National Land Fund in acquiring this land was £93,300.
