§ Mr. BlakerUnder the current procedure, commanding officers are responsible for ensuring that a form is handed personally to each eligible member of the armed forces each year. There is no compulsion on an individual to complete or submit a declaration. Completed forms are forwarded to the appropriate106W electoral registration officer and names are entered on the Register for one year only.
