53. Mr. R. C. Mitchellasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will now seek to amend the Trade Descriptions Act consequent upon the recent judgment in the High Court delivered by the Lord Chief Justice.

§ Sir G. HoweUntil it has been possible fully to assess the implications of the judgment in the case of Beckett v. Cohen it would be premature to reach any decision on amendment of the Trade Descriptions Act, 1968.
