§ Mrs. ThatcherThere is no statutory training requirement for teachers in higher education education institutions. It is for the institution concerned to determine in each case what training a teacher should have, whether pre-service, on appointment or during service, in the light of his qualifications and experience and of the nature of his teaching duties.
