§ Mr. Edelmanasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what restrictions or inhibitions he has placed on the use of the 60 acres of the Shepperton Film Studios for purposes of property development, in relation to his policy concerning the Green Belt.
§ Mr. Graham PageIn the approved Middlesex Development Plan the land is zoned as business use. In an amendment which I propose to make to the Staines and Sunbury Town Map following a submission by Surrey County Council it is zoned as the grounds of film studios. My proposed decision does not however preclude consideration on its merits of any planning application to develop the land in ways not covered by the zoning.
