§ Mr. Delargyasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what progress has been made towards replanting Rainbow Shaw in Linford, Thurrock, Essex.
§ Mr. Graham PageA condition of planning permission for sand and gravel working in this area, given on appeal by a former Minister of Housing and Local Government, was that a tree planting scheme should be agreed between the company and the local planning authority who are responsible for seeing that the condition is fulfilled. I suggest that the hon. Member should enquire of the Essex County Council about the progress made towards replanting Rainbow Shaw.
