§ Mr. Fauldsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will seek to discuss with the Standing Commission on Museums and Galleries, the National Art Collections Fund and the Contemporary Art Society the implications of value added tax for potential future benefactions to public museums.
§ Mr. HigginsCustoms and Excise will be glad to discuss the implications of VAT with interested bodies. A meeting with the Standing Commission is being arranged.
