§ 33. Mr. Dodds-Parkerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what aid he is arranging to help support the purposes of the recent agreement on the Southern Sudan.
§ Mr. KershawThe Sudanese Government have been told that we intend to make a grant of £200,000 for these purposes, and that when plans are ready for long-term reconstruction in the South, we will consider sympathetically making a contribution towards them in the context of our capital aid programme in the Sudan.
