§ Mr. Alison:I would refer the hon. Member to the Hospitals Year Book which contains a list of hospitals both inside and outside the National Health Service. I am advised that the majority of such institutions would have the facilities to carry out at least some forms of surgery. A full analysis of all surgical operations and a statement of the waiting period could not however be obtained without disproportionate time and effort.
