§ Mr. Kilfedderasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland on what evidence he satisfies himself that voluntary schools whose management committees contain representatives of the Roman Catholic Church and which are maintained in part by grants from local education authorities have admitted children both of whose parents do not attend the Roman Catholic Church.
Mr. Chanson:It has not been thought necessary or appropriate to seek evidence on this matter. But if my hon. Friend 430W will provide details of cases in which he has reason to believe there has been injustice these will be examined.
§ Mr. Kilfedderasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether he will list the new housing estates in Northern Ireland in which a Government primary or secondary school has been opened in the last 10 years and where an equivalent Roman Catholic voluntary school has been built on a site serving the same area.
§ Mr. Channon:My right hon. Friend regrets that the information is not readily available and could not be provided without disproportionate cost.
