§ 39. Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what representations she has received from the Vice-Chancellors Committee on Graduate Employment: and what action she is taking on the vice-chancellors' advice that the level of graduate provision should not be determined by short-term considerations of graduate under-employment.
§ Mr. van Straubenzee:The Vice-Chancellors Committee expressed the view described by the hon. Member in a general memorandum recently submitted to my right hon. Friend. She is now considering the advice of the University Grants Committee on the development of the universities in the next quinquennium.
